What is a drop

A Cornice drop is the vertical measurement from the ceiling down to the lowest point of the cornice ( not the face of the cornice). This is one of the key dimensions used to identify cornice size.

To measure the drop you would place a ruler or a tape measure at the bottom of the cornice and measure straight up towards the ceiling.

If you can't remove your cornice, you can use a right angled ruler or a carpenters square to measure the drop accurately while the cornice is still installed.

How do I work out how much Adhesive I need?

One tube of adhesive should cover about 6m of cornice . So if you are ordering 12m of cornice you will need two tubes of adhesive!
