How do I measure the drop of my cornice?
To measure the drop you would place a ruler or a tape measure at the bottom of the cornice and measure straight up towards the ceiling.
What if I cant remove my cornices to measure the drop?
If you can't remove your cornice, you can use a right angled ruler or a carpenters square to measure the drop accurately while the cornice is still installed.

How do I work out how much Adhesive I need?
One tube of adhesive should cover about 6m of cornice . So if you are ordering 12m of cornice you will need two tubes of adhesive!
What do you use to cut the cornice?
Cutting the cornice is easy, you just need a fine toothed saw. Measure the cornice and mark where you want to make the cut. Place the cornice on a steady surface, gently place your hand on it too keep it from slipping. Cut smoothly in one motion keeping the blade steady. Always cut slowly allowing the blade to do the work.
Who installs cornices?
Our cornices are so simple to install that anyone can do it but if you prefer to use a qualified Tradesman your best bet is with a Plasterer.
