DIY Dream Wardrobe: Adding cornice to built in units

For this project, the client set out to build their dream wardrobe to exact specifications. They incorporated IKEA PAX units for the internal layout but wanted a refined detail at the top to complete the built-in look and elevate the overall finish.

The Swift Cornice was selected for its subtle yet elegant profile perfect for adding definition without overpowering the space. To enhance the design further, an integrated LED channel was included, introducing soft ambient lighting and a touch of wow factor that transforms the wardrobe from functional to feature-worthy.

Finished in a colour matched to the IKEA PAX system, the cornice blends seamlessly with the cabinetry, creating a clean and effortless built-in appearance.

The result is a custom wardrobe that feels thoughtfully designed and beautifully finished from floor to ceiling.
